Order of Bill Konigsberg Books

Bill Konigsberg is an American author recognized for his works including Honestly Ben, Openly Straight, and The Music of What Happens. In addition to being an author, he is a sports writer who received a GLAAD Media Award in 2002 for his ESPN column “Sports World Still a Struggle for Gays.” Konigsberg later served as a sports writer and editor at the Associated Press in New York but grew bored and chose to write the novel Audible, which was retitled Out of the Pocket and earned him a Lambda Literary Award in 2009. He subsequently published Openly Straight, which received the Sid Fleischman Award for Humor. His third novel, The Porcupine of Truth, won both the Stonewall Book Award and the PEN Center USA Literary Award.
