Order of Beverley McLachlin Books

Beverley McLachlin is a Canadian author known for her legal thriller novels, particularly the Jilly Truitt series. She is a former judge who served as the 17th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada from 2000 to 2017, making her the longest-serving Chief Justice in Canadian history and the first woman to hold that position. In 2018, she was named a Companion of the Order of Canada, the highest honor within the Order. Additionally, she served as a non-permanent judge of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal from 2018 to 2024 before retiring from the bench to spend more time with her family.
