Order of Ben Rehder Books

Ben Rehder is an American author known for his comic crime fiction and mystery novels. He is the creator of the Blanco County Mysteries series featuring John Marlin. Rehder always aspired to be a writer, and as he matured, his ambition to become a novelist intensified. Although he initially worked in advertising, he grew disenchanted with it and decided to pursue his dream of writing novels. After being inspired by a book by Carl Hiaasen, he chose to focus on comic crime fiction and has continued in that genre ever since. Rehder published his first novel, Buck Fever, in 2002, which earned a nomination for an Edgar Award for Best First Novel.
