Order of Belva Plain Books

Belva Plain (1915-2010) was an American writer known for her women’s fiction, including the Werner Family Saga. Her novels explored themes such as divorce, adoption, child molestation, and babies switched at birth. At the time of her passing, over 30 million copies of her works were in circulation in more than 20 languages. Out of her 27 novels, 21 appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List. Plain sold her first story to Cosmopolitan in 1940 and wrote short stories for various magazines before becoming a mother. Her debut novel, Evergreen, was published in 1978, where it remained on the New York Times Bestseller List for 41 weeks and was later adapted into a TV miniseries.
