Belinda Bauer is a British author known for her mystery and suspense novels, including the Jonas Holly/Exmoor Trilogy series. She spent her childhood in England and South Africa and has experience as a journalist and screenwriter. Her screenplay, The Locker Room, earned her the Carl Foreman/BAFTA Award for Young British Screenwriters, presented by Sidney Poitier. Additionally, her short story Mysterious Ways, featuring a girl stranded on a deserted island with thirty-thousand Bibles, was a runner-up in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition.
