Order of Barbara Parker Books

Barbara Parker (1947-2009) was an American mystery novelist known for her Gail Connor & Anthony Quintana series, also referred to as the Suspicion series. She studied theatre arts at the University of South Florida and later obtained her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. After serving as a prosecutor in Florida's state attorney's office, she established her own legal practice, which she maintained for eight years. Barbara began writing to provide an alternative to her legal career and to create reading material for her son. Eventually, she left her practice to work as a paralegal and focus on her writing. Barbara passed away on March 7, 2009, in Boca Raton, Florida. She published her first novel, Suspicion of Innocence, in 1994, launching her Suspicion series, and quickly followed it with a standalone novel, Blood Relations, later that same year. She died before completing her final work, a standalone novel titled The Reckoning, which remains unpublished. Below is a list of Barbara Parker’s books in the order of their original publication.
