Barbara Bourland is an American author who made her debut with the novel I’ll Eat When I’m Dead, which garnered positive reviews and was recognized as a Refinery29 Best Book of 2017. Before her first novel was published, Bourland worked mainly as a freelance writer and web producer for various publications, including Condé Nast and Hearst. She resides in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband. Bourland has also written Fake Like Me, a satirical exploration of the New York Art World.
