B. Kent Anderson is an American author known for his thriller and suspense novels. In addition to his real name, he has written under the pen name David Kent for his Department Thirty series earlier in his career. His interest in fiction began when, after completing his second-grade assignments, he created fake newspapers. He began writing seriously in 1988 while working in radio. Over 14 years, he wrote five novels but faced numerous rejections from publishers. In 2002, he secured an agent and sold his first novel within three weeks. He should not be confused with action-thriller writer Kent Anderson. B. Kent Anderson published his first book, Department Thirty, in 2003 under the David Kent pseudonym. Below is a list of B.
