Anton Gill

Anton Gill is a British author known for both historical fiction and non-fiction. He writes under the names Anton Gill, Antony Cutler, Ray Evans, and Oliver Bowden. His expertise lies in contemporary European history, but he has also created a series of Egyptian mysteries featuring Huy the Scribe. Additionally, Anton has authored a series of novels inspired by the video game Assassin’s Creed (as Oliver Bowden). His other works include biographies of William Dampier and Peggy Guggenheim. Anton is married to actress Marji Campi and divides his time between London and Paris. He has been a published author since 1984, with his first non-fiction book, Martin Allen is Missing, addressing the case of a 15-year-old boy from London who disappeared. His debut novel, City of the Horizon, was released in 1991 and marked the beginning of the Huy the Scribe Egyptian mystery series.
