Order of Annie Proulx Books

Annie Proulx is an American writer known for her literary fiction novels, short stories, and non-fiction works. She is recognized for her short story "Brokeback Mountain," which was adapted into a film that won an Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe. Annie graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine, and briefly attended Colby College. She later received her B.A. in History from the University of Vermont and her M.A. from Sir George Williams University (now Concordia University) in Montreal. After spending 30 years in Vermont, she moved to Wyoming (and Newfoundland) and currently resides in Washington State. She has three sons and a daughter. Annie Proulx published her first book, a non-fiction work titled "Great Grapes," in 1982. Her first fiction book was the short story collection "Heart Songs and Other Stories."
