Anne Bennett is an English fiction writer who has been crafting novels for over 25 years. She is known for books like Love Me Tender and Forget-Me-Not Child. Although Bennett always had a passion for writing, she didn't begin her journey immediately. She worked as a teacher until a school accident injured her spine, requiring surgery and leaving her in a wheelchair, with doctors stating she would never walk again. With newfound time on her hands, she started writing, initially focusing on short stories before progressing to novels and ultimately becoming a published author. In a remarkable turn of events, in 2006, the scar tissue around her spinal cord broke down, allowing her to regain feeling in her legs. Through rehabilitation, she was able to walk again.
