Order of Andrew Martin Books

Andrew Martin is an English author, journalist, and documentary filmmaker known for the Jim Stringer, Steam Detective series, which follows a railwayman who is reassigned to the North Eastern Railway police in Edwardian England. He studied at Merton College, Oxford, and began his career as a freelance journalist after graduating. During this time, he contributed to various publications while also writing novels. His comic novel, The Bobby Dazzlers, earned him the title of Spectator Young Writer of the Year. In addition to his fiction, Martin has authored non-fiction books and has had a significant presence in television and radio. He also performs as a musician under the name Brunswick Green.
