Andrea Cremer is an American writer known for her YA fantasy novels, particularly the Nightshade series. During her childhood in Northern Wisconsin, she spent her time daydreaming in the forests. Although she has always had a passion for writing, Andrea was previously a history professor at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, before becoming a professional author. Her books reflect her dual interests in history and fantasy. Now a full-time novelist, she resides in New York. Andrea Cremer published her first novel, Nightshade, in 2010.
