Order of Alix E. Harrow Books

Alix E. Harrow is an American science-fiction author who debuted in novel writing in 2019 with The Ten Thousand Doors of January. Prior to her full-length novels, Harrow wrote short fiction and won a Hugo Award in 2019 for her story, A Witch’s Guide to Escape: A Practical Compendium of Portal Fantasies. Born and raised in Kentucky, she later attended the University of Vermont, where she earned a master’s degree in history. Harrow has penned numerous short stories published in Shimmer, Strange Horizons, Tor.com, and Apex. Before becoming a full-time writer, she was an academic historian, teaching African and African American history at Eastern Kentucky University’s eCampus. After living in five different states, she now resides in Berea, Kentucky, with her husband, son, and their pets.
