Ali Brandon is the pseudonym of American author Diane A.S. Stuckart. She writes cozy mystery novels, such as the Black Cat Bookshop Mysteries, under the name Ali Brandon, while her historical romance novels are published as Alexa Smart, and her historical mysteries are released under her real name. A native Texan, Diane was born in Lubbock and raised in Dallas, with time spent in Oklahoma City. She holds a Journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma and currently resides in South Florida. Ali Brandon became a published author in 1994 with Masquerade as Alexa Smart. Her first book under her real name, Stuckart, was The Queen’s Gambit in 2008, and she introduced her Ali Brandon pen name in 2011 with Double Booked for Death.
