Order of Alex Michaelides Books

Alex Michaelides is a screenwriter and author who studied English literature at Cambridge University before earning his MA in screenwriting at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. He is known for his novel The Silent Patient and wrote the film The Devil You Know, which featured Rosamund Pike. Additionally, he contributed as a writer to The Brits are Coming, a film that included Uma Thurman, Tim Roth, Parker Posey, and Sofia Vergara. Michaelides is the son of a Greek father and an English mother. For his debut novel, he aimed to create a story he would enjoy reading, one that he believed could stand alongside Agatha Christie’s works. His frustrations with the screenwriting industry inspired him to write a book that reflected his own creative desires.
