Order of Alan Russell Books

Alan Russell is an American author known for his crime fiction and mystery novels. He played basketball at UC San Diego, making the team as a freshman, but had to leave due to a back injury. Subsequently, he wrote for the student newspaper and eventually became its editor-in-chief. During his time, the paper gained independence and became known as The Guardian. After graduating, Russell worked in the hospitality industry while writing and selling articles for various newspapers and magazines, all while developing his novels. He drew on his hospitality experience as a setting for his stories. In addition to his novels, he has also ghostwritten several non-fiction books. Russell published his first novel, No Sign of Murder, in 1990. After No Cats, No Chocolate, he took an eight-year break before releasing Burning Man in 2012.
